Vendor Rules

The Vendor agrees to maintain their space and to keep it replenished.

ALL merchandise must be clearly and accurately tagged with price, description, item# vendor# and initials (See Merchandise). Items found without tags will be handled through the owner’s account for safe keeping.  If sold, the renter may recover the item or value thereof upon identifying the untagged/missing item.

Items being used for display purposes ONLY must be clearly marked with your Vendor# and NFS “Not for Sale”.

Decorating, cleaning and maintaining your space is the Vendor’s responsibility.  A “cleaning fee” may be charged if neglect occurs. (See House Fees & Sales Tax)

Any booth lighting must use LED  (we suggest warm or yellow) and should be set to a timer matching our business hours.

Vendors may stock their booth anytime during the regular store hours. Circus Lane staff may not be kept after hours.

Termination of Lease – In the event a Vendor wishes to discontinue the rental agreement after the initial 2-month lease period, one–month notice is requested. If the Vendor prematurely terminates the agreement, Circus Lane reserves the right to invoice for the full balance of the agreement plus all incurred fees due.

Circus Lane has the right to terminate a renter’s privileges immediately if policies are not adhered to. In this case, the Vendor must remove items within 10 days, or the merchandise becomes the property of Circus Lane

Hours of Operation – Circus Lane will be closed on some holidays (Halloween, Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day, Easter and New Year’s Day) as well as any severely inclement weather days and reserves the right to close at the Owners' discretion. Hours of operation will be posted.

Staffing – Circus Lane will provide keys to sales staff for daily operation.  Circus Lane staff’s primary duty is to open and close the shop, manage the facilities, oversee daily sales operation and transactions, and greet guests.  For this to truly be a success, Vendors are encouraged to be present whenever possible to work their booth, wait on guests, answer questions, unlock cases and encourage sales. Vendors who “work” tend to sell more items!  Only Circus Lane staff will be permitted to process sales transactions.
